Children from infancy through adolescence to adults and elders- using play therapy to collaborate with children and caregivers –attempt to identify effective responses to emotional and mental health needs, behavioral difficulties, or developmental challenges. Together we work to better understand the context and nature of a child’s and/or adults behaviors and emotions—exploring the tools and activities to aid in improving and enhancing the long term well-being of children, siblings, caregivers, classmates, and community.

Families of two+, multi-generational, or larger family units— we attempt to address and help each member communicate, connect and improve their emotional + behavioral engagements within the family unit. Through mutual collaboration we’ll work to promote more satisfying relational dynamics through understanding behaviors and emotions, identifying and establishing alternative responses.

Agencies, educators, caregiver(s), play groups, and more – we offer customized workshops and trainings designed to provide a deeper understanding of childhood emotions, development and behaviors. By proactively offering guidance within your community, we’ll work to ensure members are better equipped to accommodate all children and families on all journeys. Workshops can promote inclusive play, cultural awareness, gender identity acceptance, group coping and processing, age appropriate discipline, or guidance on having difficult conversations.

Families and educators of children in pre-school through elementary school — we offer therapeutic observations and recommendations to foster safe and trusting relationships, routines, and development. This may aid in enhancing positive interaction—impacting classroom and at-home learning environments for children, classmates, educators, and families. After an established observation period, we provide documented assessment on how the elements of the classroom and/or home learning environment may be impacting a child’s emotions, behavioral, and social/developmental health along with recommendations to support environmental, social and emotional development.

An inclusive space to share, listen, and discuss topics in a group setting – we offer 8 week closed-group meetings, accommodating 8-10 members, groups meet weekly for moderated discussions—promoting community support, destigmatize, normalization, trauma reclamation, growth, and reflection.

Our groups include: Male Sexual Abuse Survivors Group, Birth Trauma Support Group, Infant Attachment and Bonding Group, 1st Year Parents & Caregivers Group, and Parents of Trans/Two-Spirit Children Group. Please call or email to learn about the next open enrollment for these groups.
