Meet The Therapist

Hana Bernadett-Williams, LPC, LMFT

Greetings, my name is Hana(She/Her/They/Them) and I am the founder and therapist at Little Grasshopper Family Therapy – an integrative therapeutic practice for children and families. Little Grasshopper was founded to create a warm and inclusive space for children and families in our community to work through healing, growth, and trauma reclamation.

My Education & Credentials

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Queer Studies from Portland State University. Graduating with honors.

I attended Lesley University in Cambridge, MA where I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Trauma Studies and focus on early childhood and adolescent development. Graduating with honors.

I hold a dual licensure in Professional Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy.

My employment and passion lies working within community mental health facilities, hospitals, schools, teen residential facilities, intensive therapeutic preschools, head start, Indian Child Welfare Department, tribal courts, state courts, and several other agencies aiding in my capacity to do the work I am passionate about. Always feel free to reach out and ask any additional questions you may have.

Background & Approach

I hold advanced training and experience in early childhood mental health, early childhood + in-utero trauma, birth trauma, early identification of trans/two spirit identity in children, play therapy, attachment and bonding, and working with family units to aid in breaking patterns associated with intergenerational + historical trauma—protecting future generations.

My practice employs an integrative, non-directive, child and person centered approach to therapy – utilizing formal training in Play Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Sand Tray, and several other modalities to find the best therapeutic innervations and approach for your family.
